Role: Graphic Designer, Marketing Executive, Photographer
Plataran Indonesia is a homegrown luxury hospitality group with properties all over the Indonesian archipelago. As the corporate graphic designer and marketing executive, I was responsible for creating visual assets for digital and print. Here are some of my best work for the brand.
Art Direction, Graphic Design, Layouting

Initially, I worked on redesigning menus and collaterals for the four Jakarta restaurants at Plataran. As I demonstrated my range and curiosity as a designer, I was given the opportunity to lead special projects requested by the CEO.
The Coffee Table Book
The CEO wanted a coffee table book about the history of Jakarta to be placed in the executive lounges of a high-end restaurant. Given a short brief, I sourced credible images and even illustrated some low-resolution ones myself, like the one in the image on the right.
The Corporate Calendar
I was tasked with designing the 2018 corporate calendar which will be produced only for the brand's VIP customers. As I continued to exceed expectations, I received more freedom. My understanding of the brand's visual identity strengthened and it fueled my creativity. Since the brand owned properties across the country, I wanted to highlight that by featuring engaging, high quality photographs of each property for each month in the calendar.

Interior & Food Photography
With an exceptional flair for interior design, Plataran's owner has devoted significant time and resources to curating each property's interiors.

Throughout my tenure with Plataran, I have consistently utilized natural light in all my photography work. With the freedom to coordinate and execute my own photoshoots, I deliberately schedule them during the golden hour to produce optimal results. My photographic expertise lies in capturing both the aesthetic aspects of food and interior design, with a strong focus on balance and harmony in terms of composition and color.
